LAHORE – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned the Zong’s TVC which have objectionable content according to some complaints.

PEMRA placed a ban on one of the recent Zong TV ad that starts with a song “boom boom,” shows a male actor hit by Cricket ball between his legs.

The authorities previously urge Zong and OPPO Mobile to amend the TVCS as authorities received complaints about the ad.

PEMRA asked PBA (Pakistan Broadcaster Association) not to air the Zong ad after February 22nd, 2017 till its amendment.

In the today’s notification authority said that Zong kept broadcasting the same TVC without modification and watchers have complained again.

While showing displeasure, PEMRA directed PBA not to broadcast the TVC again in any case. Severe action will be taken if any TV Channel air that ad. See more on Propakistani
