KARACHI – Work on two Karachi nuclear power projects (KNUPP11 & 111) with a total capacity of producing 2200 megawatts of electricity is underway.
These power plants are being constructed in cooperation with China under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at a cost of over nine billion dollars.
Officials said besides these power project the work on 1320 Megawatts coal-based power plants at port Qasim in Karachi, 1320 megawatts coal based power project in Thar coal field is also underway. – APP
