ISLAMABAD – In the series of spot-fixing scandals in Pakistan’s cricket, Shahzeb Hassan another player of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is likely to be suspended.
According to PakistanTribe correspondent, the source reveals that the investigation has revealed that Shahzeb Hassan will also be convicted in the spot-fixing case.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahyar Khan had earlier said that stern actions would be taken in order to free Pakistan cricket from such untoward incidents.
The source said that anti-corruption unit of PCB has contacted Nasir Jamshid, a PSL player for further proceeding of the case.
Earlier, spot fixing scandal came out on the forefront in the PSL match which was going on in Dubai where PCB had suspended the three players Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif and Irfan.
Now the anti-corruption unit of PCB is considering on suspending the fourth PSL player, Shahzeb who was found to be part of the scandal.
During the revelation of the spot-fixing scandal, the Chairman PCB Shahyar Khan had said that Shahzed Hassan cannot be inquired regarding the scandal because of the lack of evidences.
