KINGSTOWN – West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels expresses his eagerness to join Pakistan army and will be coming to Pakistan till death.
A 36 year old Samuel had come to Lahore to play final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he showed his desire.
Samuel has been representing Peshawar Zalmi team in the PSL and has achieved the distinction of winning the PSL final.
Zalmi team’s owner Javid Afridi has shared a video where the player has praised the security arrangement took by Pakistan army.
After winning the PSL final match in Lahore, Army Chief Qamar Javid Bajwa had meet with the victorious team.
In a video having the duration of more than 2 minutes, Samuel says his arriving Pakistan was more than just visiting the country, adding playing here brought happiness on the melancholy faces who had been deprived of the cricket for quite long.
Samuels says, “He is Pakistani at heart and that is why I donot feel any hesitation in coming to Pakistan.”
While directly addressing the Pakistan Army Chief, he said: “General, I salute to you and I want to become part of Pakistan army.”
