ISLAMABAD – Captain Peshawar Zalmi, Darren Sammy says he is angry with PTI Chairman Imran Khan who has called them as ‘Phatechar’, saying they were disrespected rather than giving regard.
According to Pakistani media reports that the welcoming ceremony organized on the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has also been postponed.
Sources inform that the PTI leaders have given assurances to the Zalmi team that Imran Khan will apologize to the team.
Sammy and Marlon Samuels have contacted administration of Peshawar Zalmi and expressed their strong feelings of anger over the statement made by Imran Khan, adding their feelings have been teased.
According to detail, the ceremony was meant to award Rs 20 million to the winner team Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League (PSL) final held in Lahore.
The source claims that the ceremony will soon be arranged but it is conditional on Imran Khan’s apology and the Chief Minister KP will announce the new day for the ceremony later on.
