LAHORE – A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on the allegation of selling Pakistan Super League (PSL) final tickets at inflated rates of Rs 4000.
According to PakistanTribe sports desk, one of the cricket fans came to LHC and lodged his petition regarding the unavailability of PSL tickets of Rs 500, adding it has been observed that tickets are being sold in the black market at very inflated rates which are out of the reach of the common people.
He complained that almost all the cricket lovers and enthusiasts have been passing through a hard time since the government has announced the sale of PSL final tickets.
“An entry ticket into Qaddafi Stadium Lahore which worth Rs 500 is being sold at Rs 4000, the petitioner noted.
He adds that easy availability of tickets should be regulated so that the cricket enthusiasts do not face any trouble.
Justice Amir Mahmood of the LHC has reserved the decision on the matter on the ground that if it is worthy to be heard in the court of law or not.
Cricket fans face problems due to inefficiency of the cricket administration, the petitioner said.
