LAHORE – Since the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is about come to an end and the final matches of PSL will be played in Lahore in March 5.
According to PakistanTribe sports desk, the PSL matches that were held in Dubai and Sharjah stadiums have received doubled the number of cricket fans than that of last year.
According to Q-Tickets Company that has sold tickets for both the series of PSL, this year more than 0.2 million cricket fans has seen cricket matches in the stadiums.
The owner of Q-Tickets, Taginder Singh said the number of cricket lovers have almost doubled as compared to the first PSL series began last year.
He said that almost on average 10000 to 12000 crickets were present on every match of the PSL in the stadium, adding despite the fact Dubai stadium can accommodate around 22000 cricket enthusiasts but the stadium was jam packed during the launching ceremony of a match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United.
While the presence of cricket lovers reached nearly 80 to 90 percent on the PSL matches held on weekend, he adds.
