Middle Eastern users of iPhone 5 have complained for non-compliance of FaceTime feature for the device, Pakistan Tribe has learnt.
Many users in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries have complained that FaceTime doesn’t run on their devices.
But is there a solution for the problem?
The truth is “if you buy from a gulf country like Saudi Arabia it’s not enabled’, a iOS avid user said.
There could be two alternatives of FaceTime feature for Middle East, where usually this feature doesn’t work:
1. Add a tweak to hacktivate FaceTime on these phones because this phone is purchased from a location where FaceTime is banned. For iPhone 4, a tweak named Middlewhat is also a good option, but its probably not compatible with iOS 7.
2. Add Skype for the facilities that are available with FaceTime, but iPhone devices usually have unknown type of problems to run Microsoft enabled app.
