ISLAMABAD – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani says an improved communication system will bring the members of Economic Coordination Organization (ECO) further closer, leading to increase economic activities.
According to PakistanTribe correspondent Hassan Rouhani informs while addressing the 13th ECO conference of the head of the states in Islamabad that economic activities are being transferred from the west to the east.
He reveals the 21th century is the era of rising economic power of the east, stressing the need for closer cooperation between the ECO members.
The Iranian President stresses that cordial relation amongst the member countries of ECO is going to improve communication system which in turn, perhaps, leads to growth and development.
“This meeting of ECO head of the states will help in Implantation of the long term agenda of ECO especially the 2025 vision,” he highlights.
Improvement in the communication system in future will bring the East and the West together, Rouhani adds.
The President of Iran has emphasized on the economic rise of the eastern country, saying relations among the ECO members need to be promoted robustly which will surly bring success and development in the ECO member countries.
Earlier, Kishor Mahbubani a public policy expert from Singapore predicted in his book ‘The Great Convergence: The logic of one world’ that the West is losing all the economic activities and the eastern world is progressing swiftly.
He explained that nearly 90 percent of the world’s wealth is saturated in the hands of 10 percent of the western world, which will finally shift towards the 90 percent poor population of the Eastern world— especially China’s rising economy is reflective of this phenomenon.
