NEW DELHI – A person boasting to have the world’s cheapest smartphones has been detained in the outskirt of Indian’s capital city, New Delhi.
According to reports, a Noida-based entrepreneur claims to own a mobile company that manufactures smart phones which cost RS 251 each.
On this pretext, the owner named Mohit Goel has taken a massive sum from various people across India in advance.
According to the media reports from the Indian media, Mohit Goel made this announcement last year and then he was started on receiving money in advance with the company name ‘Ringing Bells’ for distribution purpose but he was not able to fulfill his promise on time.
Local media reported revealed that the Noida police have arrest Mohit Goel on the charges of fraud, forgery and breach of trust.
The police said that Mohit Goel has been detained on multiple complaints of fraud.
Report says the company imported phone sets and had sold out to the people however but after several complaints lodged in the Police station it was found that he does not even have any manufacturing unit in India.
