PSL 2017: Pietersen snatches victory from Lahore’s jaw

KP reveals his plans on PSL's Lahore final |

SHARJAH – Outstanding run from Quetta’s star player Kevin Pietersen helps chasing 201 in just 18.5 overs against Lahore Qalandars in the eleventh competition of HBL PSL 2017 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. Watch PSL Live Streaming here.

Quetta skipper Sarfraz won the toss and opted to bowl straight away.

The trick did not work this time. Lahore Qalandars’ change of batting order worked brilliantly, and the new pair of Fakhar Zaman (47) and Jason Roy (51) smashed Quetta bowlers all away, followed by a little cameo by Rizwan down the order.

Cameron Delport, who was coming in place of Grant Elliott, proved his selection right and scored 35  off 24 balls to take Qalandars score to 200/3.

Quetta started off shakily losing both openers cheaply. Rilee Rossow (33) and Pietersen made the game ahead steadily. Before Sarfraz (44) chipped in. He and KP (88*) dismantled Lahore Qalandars bowling line up.

He hit eight sixes in the innings, scoring 88 off just 42 balls. On his return to the dugout, KP was greeted by the Sir Viv Richards.

He was the undisputed Man Of the Match.
