Former Players hoping for Bright Pakistan future

Pakistan-Cricket-future-briLAHORE – Former Pakistan Test cricketers say Sri Lanka’s victory opened the door to a brighter future.

The great Waqar Younis said that despite the negative tactics of the visiting team , the tremendous victory would increase confidence of players.

He went onto saying “Pakistan has long been outside from home cricket . These conditions severely affected the performance of athletes but they finally proved that the team can still played out.”

“Guess used negative tactics, even players didn’t appear ready to give up,” he further said.

Ramiz Raja also criticized Sri Lanka players negative approach and said that Sri Lanka suffered the brunt of negative thinking.

Amir Sohail said that boosted confidence would help players in future worst conditions adding that Sri Lanka adopted negative attitude for wining the series.

“Azhar Ali and Sarfaraz contribution destroy the defensive tactics of Guest team and cleared the tracks of victory for the team,” he further said.

Former player Rashid Lateef also said that any fifty from openers could also ease the success path.

“Azhar Ali’s temperamental batting showed his better future prospects. Players who learned from their mistakes in the UAE may work for the coming matches.”
