PESHAWAR – At least two people have been killed and several are reported injured in a suspected suicide blast at Hayatabad’s are of Peshawar, PakistanTribe.com reported.
According to nitial reports, the explosion was a suicide attack which occurred outside Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) office in Hayatabad.
SSP Operations Sajjan Khan said the bomber riding a motorcycle struck a van carrying government’ employees. Two women are also among the injured, reported Samaa TV.
Bomb disposal squad, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to different hospitals.
According to unconfirmed reports, Imran Khan was also scheduled to visit the area shortly.
PTI spokesman Naeem ul Haq confirmed that Imran Khan was in Peshawar. He said that he was trying to contact Imran Khan to have more information about his whereabouts.
This comes two days after a deadly suicide bomb killed 15 people, two of them top police officials, in front of Punjab Assembly, Lahore.
