KARACHI: Suspended in PSL corruption case, Khalid Latif had offered Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to help dismantle a syndicate of bookies trying to corrupt Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Samaa News reported via its sources Tuesday, Khalid Latif was ready to become an approver, an offer PCB rejected straight away and asked the cricketer to appear before the investigation committee.
The cricket board has already issued a show-cause notice to both cricketers for their alleged links with bookies.
Both the players have been directed to appear before the investigation committee and present their stance there.
Meanwhile, PCB has maintained that no leniency will be shown to the tainted cricketers.
