LAHORE – The helicam of Samaa News captured moments in a video when a suspected suicide bomber blew himself up near a media van outside Punjab Assembly.
In the video, suspect can been seen waling closer to the crowded area, before he blew himself. An initial report on the tragedy has been submitted.
According to preliminary investigations, it was revealed that the bomber was being abetted by at least three facilitators.
The report said his accessories accompanied him to Regal Chowk where police tried to intercept them on being suspicious. However, they could not be nailed as the place was overcrowded.
It is said the bomber was aged between 20 to 22 years.
At least six to eight kilograms of explosives were used in Lahore blast that left 13 people dead including the city’s top police officers.
According to police, hand, legs and jaw of the attacker were recovered from the blast site.
