DUBAI – Peshawar Zalmi beat Karachi Kings by 7 wickets in the third game of HBL PSL 2017 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
Peshawar Zalmi captain won the toss and opted to bowl first.
The decision proved to be a good one as they took first wickets of Kings on the mere total of 12 inside five overs.
Bopara and Malik held the innings together. Pollard ‘s little cameo in the last part of the innings to take the score to 118.
So, another low scoring essay on a slow wicket which had something for the seamers and the tweakers.
Peshawar, on the other hand, looked like a well-oiled machine and despite playing their second game in less than 24 hours, looked sharp on the field. 119 is the target, and in all likelihood, it would pan out in a predictable manner.
In contrast to their bowling performance, Peshawar had a sluggish start of the chase, losing both openers for just two runs.
Eoin Morgan and Malan stabled the innings.. Morgan (80) played an outstanding hand to take Zalmi home.
Morgan chosen Man Of the Match.
