DUBAI – Young cricketers can avail the opportunity provided by the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the form of bringing the world prestigious players on a single plate form, ex-Sri Lankan Captain Mahela Jayawardene said.
He highlighted that the availability of experienced players from across the world holds a great opportunity for the young cricketers to help improve Pakistan cricket.
Since the Pakistani cricketers are playing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), they will give a very tough time to their competitors because they have accustomed to playing cricket there for ages, he explained.
While recollecting his memories, Jayawardene said that he was not able to play well in competition with Pakistani players on the same pitches, adding that the young cricketer would be able to utilise this opportunity provided by PSL to polish their latent potent.
The world class players would be helpful to train the novice and young crickets which may transform their playing skills and talent, he said.
The team has become balanced with the inclusion of Karachi Kings and efficiency in performance would be seen, he explained.
As players including Amir, Gayle and Malik has to bring excitement in the game lovers in the Karachi Kings.
