The statue of liberty in New York inspired by an Egyptian

ISLAMABAD – It has been known that the statue of liberty in the New York City of America belongs to an Egyptian woman.

A report published in the British newspaper about the history of the statue of freedom which said that the figure had been presented to the US by France as a souvenir of friendship.

The structure of the statue was designed by the Ghustao Ifel while Fredrik August Bar created the sculpture.

The statue of liberty is 86 feet in length and 48 feet in width. However, the present Egyptian ruler Ismail Pasha has rejected this project due to a high level of expenses.
