LAHORE – The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Shahryar Khan said that various countries have assured sending their cricket teams to Pakistan following the visit of Giles Clarke for examining the security situation related to cricket.
According to PakistanTribe news desk, the Chairman PCB informed that Giles Clarke would bring World Eleven team apprising of the present players.
As per the media reports, the final of Pakistan Super League second season (PSL 2017) is a stepping stone towards reviving international cricket, however, cricket teams would not come to Pakistan overnight.
Recently, Giles Clarke presented its report during PCB meeting which would enhance the efforts of Pakistan cricket.
Shahryar said they had briefed the ICC that various academies in Karachi, Lahore and Multan to accommodate the cricket teams and the member countries should bring the Under-Nineteen women and teams to Pakistan.
Ireland, Afghanistan and Nepal said that Pakistan is a safe country and they are ready to send their teams while Bangladesh sent its women team to Pakistan two years back and now the Bangladesh Academy team would come to Pakistan, said Shahryar.
