DUBAI – The Pakistan Super League (PSL2) teams captains ready to perform their best to engage and protect the interest of cricket fans, pakistantribe.com reported.
According to PakistanTribe’s sports desk, PSL2 captains revealed strategies and plans while talking to media here in Dubai during PSL 2 Trophy Launch Event.
Skippers of the defending champion Islamabad United, Misbah ul Haq said that almost same team and experience we gained during the first season of the league are our strength, and we will use both to play good cricket.
Captain of Quetta Gladiators, Sarfaraz Ahmed said that we are ready to surprise everyone with our good performance and young players.
Karachi Kings’ captain, Kumara Sangakkara said that the combination of experienced coaches and young players would help to demonstrate an incredible performance during PSL 2 games.
Darren Sammy, the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, stated said that his team would enhance the performance to enthral their fans.
The chief of Lahore Qalander, Branden Mccullum said that they would try to play good cricket.
Chairman of PSL, Najim Sethi while talking to media persons said that the final of PSL 2 is scheduled to held at Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore with the capacity to accommodate 25-30,000 spectators.
The tournament will help Pakistan to get new talent, and support from the private sector added Najam Sethi.
It is worth mentioning here that the opening match of PSL 2 is going to be held between defending champion Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
