KARACHI – After striking out dollar girl Ayan Ali’s name from Exit Control List (ECL), the Sindh High Court on Thursday added her name again to the watch list for ten more days.
As per reports from the Pakistan Tribe correspondent, SHC reversed its early decision on the special request from the federal government.
Earlier, a two-member bench headed by Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh read out the ruling that was reserved on a petition to take her name from the ECL, reported Samaa.
Judge Naimatullah Phulpoto showed agreement to the ruling of Justice KK Agha. It should be mentioned here that Justice Phulpoto was appointed as referee judge after the Justice Sheikh and Justice Agha differed on the ruling.
It should be mentioned here that in the previous hearing, the model’s lawyer Latif Khosa said it is contempt of Supreme Court of Pakistan and an act of victimisation to prevent her from going abroad.
Additional Attorney General Salman Talibud Din said Punjab government got her name included in ECL in the murder case of a customs inspector, adding the matter relates to Punjab; hence, Sindh court has no jurisdiction to hear the case.
