PERTH – After the famous win in the second ODI, Pakistan will look to take lead in the third match of the five-match series at the Perth on Sunday.
The match is scheduled to begin at 11:20 local time (03:20 GMT | 08:20 PST).
Pakistan’s bowling has improved significantly since the Test series. They bowled out Australia in the second game and took nine wickets in the first, both wickets were suitable for batting. The wicket at WACA, Perth offers comparatively more bounce and pace which will help pace attack from the both sides.
Since Australia have rested Mitchel Starc, Pakistan batters can take advantage of his absence.
The left-armers Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan should enjoy the pace and bounce on offer, provided they find the right length for the conditions. Equally intriguing will be whether the stand-in captain Mohammad Hafeez can utilise his spin bowlers on a surface not likely to be as sluggish as the MCG was.
