KARACHI – Governor Sindh Justice (retd) Saeeduzzman Siddiqui passes away on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 79.

According to local media reports, Siddiqui was taken to South City Hospital after a complaint of chest pain, but he was pronounced dead upon his arrival.

Saeeduz Zaman Siddique was under treatment in a private hospital, but doctors failed to save his life this time.

Siddique was earlier shifted to a private hospital over the ailment.

He is regarded as the 31st Governor of Sindh who was sworn in on November 11, 2016. He served as the Governor of Sindh for two months.

The federation had appointed the late Zaman last year after Dr Ishratul Ibad was relieved from his services.
