ATTN email and domain owners, rule of game changed

ATTN email and domain owners, rule of game changed | PakistanTribeInternet security and authenticity of the content available in the virtual world is a big issue for almost every tech firm.

To solve these basic problems stakeholders taking different measure by the time, in the recent move by Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has implemented a new rule.

New ICANN rules for domain names require you to verify your email address within 15 days of a change to the contact name or email, or else your web site and email will stop working.

Now after the implementation of the new rule, after 15 days your domain name server (DNS) will be disabled and replaced with a placeholder page that explains what’s going on and how to verify the email address.

This means all domains that are registered with that contact will be disabled 15 days after the verification email is sent until you verify the email address.
