Pakistani version of YouTube soon | PakistanTribeISLAMABAD – Google’s video portal YouTube is ready to launch its local version for Pakistan, where the site is banned due to blasphemous content, PakistanTribe.com reported.

According to the details available to PakistanTribe, the good news of YouTube lovers is Google’s video portal administration has agreed to open its local version in Pakistan.

World’s largest video sharing portal YouTube is banned in Pakistan but after the development now chances for re-opening are bright.

Pakistani official sources said that final decision in this regard would taken by inter-ministerial committee of the national assembly.

Pakistan government wants to ban x-rated and blasphemous content either by the sites administration or the local authorities in the country.
