[dropcap]B[/dropcap]EIJING – The Samsung Galaxy S7 is undeniably one of the most anticipated releases of 2016, and with each new leak and rumor, the Korean tech giant’s upcoming flagship phone continues to gain more and more attention, for all the right reasons.
We came across various rumors targeting an early January or February release date, but more recent evidence suggests that the handset could, in fact, be launched in March 2016.
Spec-wise, previous rumors hinted at a magnesium chassis (which may have already leaked), advanced features including a 32-bit Stereo D/A converter from ESS Technology, and the possibility that Samsung may have spent a lot more of its time and resources into refining the TouchWiz user experience with the help of Google’s software engineers.
Either way, what we’re certain of is that the flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 820and the new Exynos 8890.
We’ll keep you up to speed if more details about availability emerge in the coming weeks, but needless to say, it looks like March 2016 remains our safest bet.
