[dropcap]I[/dropcap]SLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said that self-styled Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) has no presence in Pakistan, adding that no person or group would be allowed to join this group, PakistanTribe.com reported.

He said that the Pakistani government has condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris in strong words.

He said that no terrorist including ISIL would be allowed to enter in Pakistan. He said Pakistan has full capability to deal with ISIL, adding that so far there is no presence of this group in Pakistan.

While addressing a ceremony at Foreign Office and later on talking to media persons he said that the terrorist attacks in Paris and Lebanon are condemnable. He said Pakistan leadership is committed to root out terrorism from  the country.

He said Pakistan is playing crucial role in war against terrorism, adding that Pakistan has rendered matchless sacrifices in war against terrorism.

Chaudhry said the operation Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation have bore positive results. He said that these operations will continue in country till the elimination of terrorism.

He said no person in country would be allowed to contact ISIL at any level, adding that ISIL is terrorist organization and it has no presence in Pakistan. He said the presence of ISIL in Pakistan would not be tolerated.

He said that the institutions of country, leadership and masses would not allow anyone to make contact with ISIL.

He said ISIL is the name of a mind set and it should have to be dealt with.

Replying to a question regarding Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s US visit, Aizaz Chaudhry said that during the prime minister’s recent US visit both countries reiterated to further strengthen ties. He said that the visit of army chief to US will further enhance defence cooperation between the two countries.

Chaudhry said for the strengthening of ties between the two countries many Pakistani delegations have visited US and many US delegations visited Pakistan.

“Army chief’s visit to US is part of military to military relations between two countries,” said Chaudhry.

He said Pakistanis understand the pain of French people, adding that Pakistan has also faced terrorism. He said that Pakistan has taken action against terrorism and terrorism is dieing down Pakistan today.

Chaudhry said that the remains of terrorists present in whole world, adding that the whole world should have to unite against terrorists.

He said that the Pakistani people and government are committed that they will not allow ISIL, extremists and terrorists to come in Pakistan.
