1-At the end of the song “Ruk Ja O dil Deewane”, Shah Rukh was instructed to drop Kajol. Aditya Chopra didn’t reveal this Kajol as he wanted her expressions to be original. As a result, Kajol was actually super surprised when Shah Rukh dropped her. We all have seen that expression of her!
2-“Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye” was the first sound track from the film to be recorded. Aditya Chopra rejected 24 verses of the song that Anand Bakshi created.
3-“Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna” was among the most popular tracks of that time, and probably the most among all tracks from the films. However, originally the song was decided to belong from another film.
4-On December 2014, the film completed 1000 weeks. On this occasion Aditya Chopra released a book titled “Aditya Chopra relives, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”.
5-The day the film was released was the 25th anniversary of Yash Raj Films.
6-Karan Johar made his acting debut with this film.
7-Shah Rukh Khan, for his performance in the film, won the award of ‘Best Actor’. Aamir khan was expecting the same for ‘Rangeela’. He was so disappointed and unhappy that he stopped attending anymore award ceremonies.
8-The name “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” was given by actress Kirron Khwe, who also happens to be actor Anupam Kher’s wife.
9-Saif Ali Khan was offered the role of Raj Malhotra, originally played by Shah Rukh Khan. However, he turned it down.
