ISLAMABAD – A made in Pakistan app is soon going to be up on Google glass. Pakistani software engineers after getting an exposure to Google Glass are really excited and thrilled. So they have vowed to create a app for Google Glass as soon as possible.
“Pakistan is an emerging IT country and it would be really nice if we can get a Pakistani app up on Google Glass,” said Jehanzeb Malik, a senior software engineer at Red Buffer, who attended an event yesterday.
Malik said he and his team were trying to get a basic idea of Glass and now they hope to build apps soon.
It should be noted that Google Glass is an emerging gadget that is getting popularity very fast in the world and all over the world web developers are trying to beat each other in creating apps for Google Glass and now Pakistan is also part of this bandwagon which is a good news at the turn of the new year.
It needs to be mentioned here that Google Glass is a “wearable technology” device — essentially a computer — which Google started testing in 2012.
It is worn similarly to normal eyewear, with the display appearing in a lens attached to the device. Glass is controlled using voice commands and a touchpad on the side of the frame.
