ISLAMABAD – Chief of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Martial Sohail Aman had meeting with the first expedition team of PAF, PakistanTribe.com reported.
Air Chief Martial Sohail Aman appreciated the efforts of the team for highlighting the positive image of the country and their resolve in the difficult conditions.
On the special instructions of the Chief of Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Air Force arranged a team for K-2 base camp to promote the mountaineering in the country.
PAF chief termed it the part of independence celebrations of the country and said that this team is tribute for the Pakistani nation on this auspicious occasion.
The team of PAF consisted of 13 men and four women. Who reached Skardu on August 6 and started moving ahead on August 8 by foot and the team reached at the converging point of four world’s biggest mountains (G-II, G-I, Broad Peak, K-2) after the severe fatigue of five days and waved the flag of Pakistan on glacier situation at the converging point of four world’s biggest mountains.
