While talking to media outside the Parliament house in Islamabad on Thursday, Khawaja Asif said that he condemns the words spoken by Altaf Hussain regarding Pakistan, army and the institutions of the country, saying that those who were involved in such activities cannot even be considered Pakistanis.

“There are forums available to the MQM in Pakistan and if they chose to knock on India’s doors, I would not even consider them Pakistanis.”

Khawaja Asif said, “Pakistan’s relations with India warranted that we would not knock on the doors of our enemies.”

He said that courts are working in the country and people have confidence on the judicial system, saying that security institutions are giving sacrifices for the protection of the country and parliament is doing its work.

Khawaja Asif said that the incumbent political leadership is showing earnestness, saying that the role of parliament is welcome for democracy.
