KARACHI: Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram barely escaped an attack as his car came under fire near National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday, Pakistan Tribe Reported.
According to the reports, anonymous men fired at Akram’s car on Karsaz Road near National Stadium. However, he remained safe during the incident.
Akram called the police helpline and registered the complaint. As per Akram’s own account, two mysterious armed men on a car opened fire at his car.
Police has reached the spot and inquiries are under way.
Imran Khan And Shahid Afridi condemned the attack and wished him healthy and secured life.
