The film which brings Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif together is supposedly a counter-terrorism drama, looking at the scenario post the 26/11 attacks.
The two dramatic posters revealed in which have Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif blindfolded with uncatch hair and bruised faces have created quite a buzz.
The blindfold being the tricolor and the Taj burning in the background of the poster makes quite the statement.
The film is an adaption of S Hussain Zaidi’s recent novel, Mumbai Avengers. Zaidi has also written the screenplay for Phantom.
This is the first time Saif has worked with Director Kabir Khan, while for Katrina it’s the third time, having starred in Khan’s “New York” and “Ek Tha Tiger”.
The film is based on the series of shootings and bombings in Mumbai that shook the city on November 26, 2008. ‘Phantom’ involves characters that have been named after David Headley, Sajid Mir, Haifiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.
Director Kabir Khan shared the first look of his next venture Phantom on Twitter.
