Eid 2015 Moon Sighted In Pakistan | Pakistantribe.comISLAMABAD – Pakistanis will celebrate Eid 2015 on Saturday as the Shawwal moon has been sighted in different parts of Pakistan, PakistanTribe.com reported.

According to the information available to the PakistanTribe (PT), for different SHADA (eye witness) of moon sighting have been received from north western part of Pakistan, Skardu.

It is worth mentioning here that one of the biggest religious festivals of the world, Eid al Fitr, is celebrated by the Muslims’ during their Islamic lunar calendar’s month of Shawwal’s 1st date of Shawwal till 3rd.

Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman on Friday announced that committee has received two evidences of Shawal Crescent. However, official announcement will be done after three or more evidences.

The central committee meeting is being held in Pakistan’s largest city Karachi along-with Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta for the sighting of Shawwal Crescent.

Members of the central and Karachi Ruet-e-Hilal committees, officials of the Met Department and Space, and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) experts are present on the occasion.

Services from Pakistan Meteorological Department are also taken for making final decision of Shawwal moon sighting.

Earlier, Abdul Qawi, a member of Central Moon Sighting Committee has said that the committee have received 12 different SHADA of moon sighting.
