Professor Snape in the Harry Potter Series
The least favorite teacher of Harry in the Harry Potter series, Professor Severus Snape was based on the author of the series, J.K Rowling’s own Chemistry teacher, John Nettleship.
Wendy of the Wendy’s Burger chain
Wendy’s is the International fast food chain in America and is world famous. ‘Wendy’ was the nickname of the daughter of the founder of Wendy burger chain, Dave Thomas.
Dorian Gray of Oscar Wilde’s story
The character of Oscar Wilde’s story, Dorian Gray was based on the famous aesthetic poet, John Gray.
The famous detective, a fictional character, Sherlock Holmes was based on its author, Conan Doyle’s teacher, Dr. Joseph Bell who taught his students the importance of observation.
Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh stories were inspired from the author, A A Milne’s son, Christopher Robin Milne and his teddy bear.
