Sindh govt starts arrangements for BB anniversary on Dec 27 | PakistanTribeLARKANA – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah presided over a high level meeting to review the arrangements and finalized the program for 6th Martyrdom anniversary of slain Chairperson PPP Shaheed Benazir Bhutto to be observed on 27th December 2013 here at Circuit House Larkana on Wednesday.

Chief Minster Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah also visited the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and laid floral wreath on mausoleum of founder PPP Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and offered Fateha for the peace of departed soul.

He was accompanied by Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durani, Provincial Minster Manzoor Hussain Wassan, MNA Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, MPA Muhammad Ali Bhutto , MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo and other local PPP leaders.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah visited the mazar of former Prime Minster of Pakistan and Slain Chairperson PPP Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, late Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto and placed floral wreaths on their graves and offered the fateha for the peace of departed souls.

Talking to media men Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that all set to hold local bodies election in time in Sindh, nomination papers for upcoming local bodies election will be provided from 26th December 2013 in Sindh, it will cause the disturbances due to death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto to be held on 27TH December 2013, adding that election commission should have changed date of nomination forms however Sindh government has taken preventive measures to avoid the rigging.

He said that Local Bodies election will be held on parties bases on transparent and fair manner, in this regard PPP has prepared it self for the forthcoming election.

While, CM Sindh Shah said law and order situation is better as compared to past, adding l bodies election will be carried out in Sindh in time with free, fair and transparent manner so that masses could exercise the vote of vote to elect their representatives.

Chief Minster Sindh directed to concerned officials complete ongoing development works at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and ensures the availability of all required facilities to masses thronging at mausoleum of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto to pay her glowing tribute on her great sacrifice for sack of democracy and country.

President PPP Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah apprised the meeting that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other central leaders of PPP will address the public gathering at Garhi Khuda Bhutto on eve of 6th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on 27th December 2013,

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that jalsa (public gathering) will start from 3 pm and will end at 5 pm, adding that followers of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto from Punjab, Khabarpakhtoon Khah, Azad Kashmir and other cities will be arriving at Garhi Khuda from 26fh December 2013 at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto to pay tribute to their great leader.

CM Sindh was also briefed about the arrangements and security plane. apprised the meeting that comprehensive security plane has been framed, over 8000 personals of Police, Rangers and Commandos will be deployed at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and its adjoining areas for controlling the law and order situation and avoiding any untoward situation, adding that close circuit cameras, walk through gates and other security equipments will be installed at entry and exit points at Mausoleum and routs leading to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and is amid a tight security besides snap dogs will be used for the security purpose to avoid any untoward situation.

Later CM Sindh along with provincial Ministers and MPAs visited the residence of Chief of Mithani community Sardar Safdar Ali Mithani.
