NEW YORK- The first trailer of documentary demonstrating the life of the Youngest Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai has been released, which has given a glimpse of her being an ordinary, friendly and energetic girl along with her inspirational image of her struggles as an activist.
The renowned director, Davis Guggenheim who is widely known by his two films, ‘Waiting for Superman’ and ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ has made this documentary.
The interesting thing in the documentary is that it has not only illuminated the superhuman aspects of Malala’s life but also it has thrown light upon Malala as an ordinary girl who goes to school, plays with her brothers and is pampered by her father just like any other girl of her age.
The documentary is planned to release in United States on October 02, 2015.
It is pertinent to mention that Malala is an activist known for her advocacy for education. She also has a United Nations petition launched in her name by the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, Gordon Brown which demanded that all children across the world should be in school by the end of 2015.
Furthermore, she was featured as one of ‘The Most Influential People in the World’ and also won Pakistan’s First National Youth Peace Prize. Along with other prizes her greatest achievement was winning the Nobel Peace Prize 2014. Not only this but also an asteroid, a small rocky body orbiting the sun, has been named after her by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
