CAIRO, EGYPT- Imagine a kind of life one can live in jail. Obviously, it is hard to the degree beyond anyone’s imagination. It is terrible and cannot be foreseen by anyone living outside it. But if one musters up his courage he or she can do wonders by relaxing the intense difficulties and making opportunities.
Same has been done by a brave and bold Egyptian kid. He has become an inspiration for many as he has set a record by not only passing his Grade 8th examination while being in jail but also scoring 98% in it.
It is pertinent to mention that when the regime of the president of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi was toppled by the army chief General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on July 3rd, 2012, severe demonstrations were started across the country. These demonstrations were suppressed brutally, as a result of which hundreds of people lost their lives and thousands landed in jail.
Motasim, a school going kid was among those who landed in jail. He came on the roads to protest against the nondemocratic government. But he did not put an end to his educational career in jail even and was resolute to pass the examination.
Motasim’s parents have expressed pride over his success. Whereas Motasim said in his message that he will continue his education irrespective of the difficulties coming in his way.
