Fulbright Award For 140 Pakistani Students| PakistanTribe.comISLAMABAD – Over 140 Pakistanis are set to pursue higher education in top level institutions of United States through Fulbright award.

While addressing to the scholarship holders for the Fulbright program, U.S Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Thomas Williams said:

“Each one of you will become an ambassador of the rich culture and society that is Pakistan. You will be able to share your own unique experience and insights to make a difference in lives of people you meet and institutions of which you are a part, both in the US and upon your return to Pakistan.”

The Fulbright group is formulated with the students of 33 varsities from Pakistan. Women are representing 46% of the group.

For their studies in U.S, the participants of Fulbright will attend 70 different varsities of U.S with a wide variety of academic disciplines, including energy, engineering, management and social sciences.

“Since 2005, the Fulbright was received by 1,537 Pakistanis to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns,” he shared.
