ISLAMABAD – Just a day after the official launch of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus project rainy weather in the twin cities welcomed the project as did by local residents.
Red coloured Metro buses were observed in twin cities on Friday morning with the heart-touching weather conditions.
Pakistani Prime Minister along with Chief Ministers Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab inaugurated the project on Thursday in a ceremony held at Convention Center, Islamabad.
Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus will serve more than 100,000 commuters daily from Rawalpindi to Islamabad.
In the current season the weather in twin cities seems more pleasant as compare to previous summers in the region.
It is pertinent to mention here that last night, a large number of people travelled on the long awaited service, which gives a picturesque view to the twin cities, especially through its illuminated stations
Families accompanied by children and youngsters thronged the stations and expressed delight over the new bus service
