NEW DELHI- India has finally released the Pakistani pigeon who was arrested under the charge of spying for Pakistan.

The Indian Police sent the pigeon to Police clinic after performing X-ray, to check if there was any camera, transmitter or a concealed chip attached to him. After the X-ray, the pigeon was still kept in police custody, nevertheless no proof could be found.

According to the Indian media, this pigeon has been handed over to a pigeon keeper, Ranjeet Singh of the Pathankot district of India who holds proper arrangements to look after dogs and birds.

The pigeon keeper has also found him a company, a white female pigeon so that the pigeon does not feel alone. He is very happy to have a highbred Pakistani pigeon.

It is pertinent here that this pigeon was spotted by an Indian teenage boy close to the border. The pigeon had a message written in Urdu on its feathers and thus was detained by the police.
