ISLAMABAD – With the carpet road laid down for Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been directed to launch rehabilitation program to renovate the road infrastructure of the federal capital.
According to the PakistanTribe’s (PT) correspondent from Islamabad, the rehabilitation project includes those roads, which were affected during the work on Metro Bus Project.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has allocated Rs 335 million for carrying out the renovating and construction work in the capital.
A broad program has also been envisioned for construction of new walking tracks with major avenues and along the metro tracks to provide state of the art recreational and fitness facilities to the citizens.
In order to boost the beauty of the city, after selection of different sites, CDA has initially started the establishment of cycling, walking and jogging tracks along the Ismail Zabeeh Road Sector F-8, Sector F-11 and newly developed park near Federal Lodges.
Under this plan, traffic signals and signage will be improved, lane marking will carried out, median strips will be decorated with flowers to aesthetically boost the city.
