In 1973, Nelley Reyes gave birth to a child, but by the hospital administration she was told that her son is died shortly after birth.
Surprisingly hospital administration did not give him any death certificate and dead body of the kid.
Nelley says that she was just 19 years old at that time.
What she really did not know that her boy had been stolen, and was adopted by a family in Tacoma, Washington.
But after 41 years, she was waiting for his son on the airport, raising play card written: “‘Lovingly waiting for Travis, your mother Nelly and family.”
What actually happened that on the 40th birthnday of Travis, he decided to track down his biological parents.
He explained: “I started by joining a pen pal web site and talking with people from Chile.”
“I found out that babies were stolen from there unwed mothers in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s with a few here and there after the 80s.”
He further said that, this really kickstarted my need to find my biological mother. I found a Facebook site Chile Adoption Birth Family Search.
“I gave them all the information I could find on my adoption. I want to say within three to four weeks they had found my mother.”
That’s how the good luck of these mother and son worked and they met with each other after 41 years.
