KARACHI – The Axact selling fake degrees, the company doing this and that or allegations against the Pakistani IT company are false, this is what we are listening and its not the end of story drama.
People from different walks of life reacting on the development in their own style, same happened in Karachi where a shopkeeper who runs Lassi (A sweet or salty drink made from yogurt) shop has started giving an offer to sell a free fake degree if a customer buys 6 glass of Lassi.
The offer includes not only this but also the discipline in which you need a degree would be of buyer choice.
Pakistani IT company Axact’s fake degree’s scam is now a most discussed event in the country as investigation and law enforcement institutions are probing the allegation framed by New York Times report.
Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association ([email protected]) Dr. Shoaib Khan also clarified that the Axact is not associated with us and Axact scam is harmful for software houses in Pakistan.
Six websites operated by the Axact in Pakistan have been discovered. Rest of the websites are being operated from Middle East.
Service providers have been ordered to provide information related to degrees and with the help of data it would be much easier to get the record of selling and buying of degrees.
It is important to mention here that Sindh Higher Education Commission has also taken notice of Axact scandal. In this regard, Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Asim Hussain said that we will not let run the business of fake degrees in Pakistan and the whole matter will be investigated.
