4 blasts in Karachi, 3 killed many injured

Karachi: Blast near Chehlum procession, no casualties | PakistanTribeKARACHI – Three people killed and many other were injured in 4 different balsts in Karachi with in 60 minutes on the occassion of Chehlum Imam Hussain (R.A).

First explosion took place near Chehlum procession on Karachi’s main M.A Jinnah Road proves security arrngements useless, PakistanTribe reported on Tuesday.

However no loss of live was reported in first blast according to initial reports.

According to the local media, the blast occurred near Taj Complex on M.A Jinnah Road, minutes after a procession Imam Hussain’s (R.A) Chehlum passed by.

According to details, two people were injured in the first bomb blast near a local Hospital situated at M.A. Jinnah Road, the main route of the Chehlum procession..

Rangers and police have reached the spot and cordoned off the area.

Twin bomb explosions occurred in Orangi Town No. 10 area of the metropolis, killing two, six others were injured in the explosions.

According to sources, the first blast took place while another explosion occurred when police and rescue officials reached the site.

Police said that the second bomb was placed in a motorcycle which also contained ball bearings..

The target of the second blast was police and rescue officials, police added.

Medico Legal Officer (MLO) Abbashi Shaheed Hpspital Dr. Shahid Nizam confirms that 3 people have been killed in Orangi Twon blast while 20 others were injured.

After the blasts addition IG Police says procession route in Karachi is now being rechecked for any suspicious material.
