During the press conference the Secretary Election Commission, Babar Yaqoob, and member Sindh Election Commission said that every measure to be taken to make the elections free and fair to reach to the free will of the people of Karachi.
Secretary Election Commission says that we were to bring the bio metric voting system in the NA-246, but as a nation we are not ready for the electronic voting and bio metric system.
Secretary says that Army and Rangers will be placed in and around the polling stations to make sure the sound environment for conducting the election.
He says that besides Rangers and Army surveillance cameras to be installed in the polling stations.
The Secretary Election Commission says that there will be no load shedding during the election in the NA-246.
Nine Senior Police (SP) will be placed in NA-246 to meet with any security situation, he added.
The Secretary tells that Ballot Papers have been published under the supervision of the Army.
This is our mission to make the By-polls transparent enough, so that no one would blame us later, he added.
He says that more than 7000 police officer would be deployed in the NA-246 on the election day to carry out the election in a peaceful manner.
