FIA's Report Clears That Shafqat Hussain Is Not Under Age For Death Sentence |PakistanTribe.comISLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has revealed that Shafqat Hussain clarifies the age prescribed for death sentence, and the birth certificate presented by his lawyer was fraud.

The Police and court’s record suggests that Shafqat Hussain was 18 years old when he was arrested for the kidnapping and killing of the 17 years boy.

The FIA mentioned in the report that the birth certificate which was made from Azad Kashmir in 2014 is illegal and fraud.

The issue of his hanging became controversial when one of the social workers took the matter claiming that he is under age for the death penalty.

The source told that FIA has sent its report to the Interior Ministry regarding the age dispute of the Shafqat Hussain.

It is maintained in the report that Shafqat Hussain, now, is 23 years old and he is fulfilling the age requirement for the death penalty.

FIA dismissed the claim that he is under age and this report is also submitted to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.
