LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced on Thursday that Zulfiqar Babar will replace injured Sohail Khan in ODIs, PakistanTribe.com reported.


According to the spokesperson of PCB, Babar will leave for Bangladesh to join team Pakistan after the injury of Sohail Khan.

Pakistan would start one-day international matches’ series against host Bangladesh from April 17.

Pakistani pacer Sohail Khan got injured during the warm-up match against Bangladesh Cricket Board Eleven on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Team Manager told the media that Sohail Khan received a wound on his hand, doctors adviced the pacer for seven-days rest.

Naveed Akram Cheema also confirms that Sohail Khan would be available for the test series against Bangladesh.

According to PCB spokesperson, Zulfiqar Babar will leave for Dhaka tonight.
