ISLAMABAD – Pakistani noble peace prize winner and the renowned education activist Malala Yousafzai is the only Pakistani who made it to the top 10 Most Influential People among Time magazine’s annual list as she has inspired many people around the world.
According to the current survey of Time magazine, the Russian president Vladimir Putin won the magazine readers poll for who should top its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential figures.
The top five from the poll included Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Taylor Swift while the only non-entertainers to make the top 10 are Dalai Lama, Malala Yousafzai and Pope Francis. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been selected among the100 most influential people in the world.
The TIME 100 is an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, covering politics, entertainment, business, technology, science, religion and other fields. Chosen by the editors of TIME, this year’s list will be unveiled on April 16.
