People have been using onion juice to promote hair growth for centuries, so why haven’t you heard of it? A lot of people are reluctant to put onion juice in their hair because of the smell, but if you can get past it, this method really works.
The reason it is so effective is because onion juice contains a lot of collagen boosting sulfur that promotes hair growth. If you’re desperate, it might be time to suck it up and try the onion juice.
Put an onion in a juicer, then work the juice into your scalp. Leave it in for 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it away with shampoo.
Rosemary oil doesn’t get used a lot in hair treatments in the western hemisphere, but those in the Middle East swear by it. The oil that comes from the rosemary herb can expand our blood vessels. That sounds like a bad thing at first, but it can actually improve our overall blood circulation, even in our scalps. This oil is great for hair growth, as well as an overall boost to your skin’s health.
Using rosemary oil is quite simple (at least compared to the previous items on our list). All you need to do is mix in some rosemary oil with the shampoo and/or conditioner that you are currently using and massage it deeply into your scalp. You can also add in a small amount of olive oil for an even shinier head of hair.
Potato juice doesn’t sound like something that would help your hair, but you would be surprised of its benefits. Potatoes are packed with three essential vitamins for a strong head of hair: A, B and C. If your hair has started thinning, adding these vitamins into your scalp will help slow down hair loss (and even stop it, in some cases).
Put a potato in a juicer and work the juice into your scalp. Let it sit for a maximum of 15 minutes, then wash the potato juice away with shampoo.
